KVH Industries, Inc. (KVH) Static IP and Monthly Maintenance

Scope

The purpose of this synopsis is to provide notice of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic�s intent to award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to KVH for satellite airtime and one year of monthly maintenance fees. The Government intends to negotiate solely with KVH under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). KVH is the sole provider of the satellite airtime. No other vendors or distributors can provide this airtime as it is currently being used. The NAICS Code is 517410 and the Small Business Size Standard is $44 million.
