Scope

Description of Proposed Work: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District, anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a firm-fixed-price construction contract to execute the Rough River Lake Axtel Wastewater Treatment Plant Replacement. The overall scope of work comprises the complete demolition and decommissioning of the existing wastewater treatment plant and the construction of a new replacement subsurface sewage treatment and dispersal facility. Primary features of work include, but are not limited to:Demolition and Removal: Demolition and disposal of the existing Axtel Wastewater Treatment Plant, existing chain-link perimeter fencing, and gravel surfacing.Treatment and Disposal System Construction: Construction and installation of a new subsurface wastewater treatment and disposal system, including: Precast concrete primary pretreatment septic tanks…
