REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IN REFERENCE TO P621, COMMUNICATION STATION REPLACEMENT AT NAVAL STATION ROTA, SPAIN (NAVSTA ROTA)

Scope

NAVFAC Atlantic intends to restrict a portion of the work in support of Military Construction Project P621, Communication Station Replacement at Naval Station Rota, Spain (NAVSTA Rota) to a sole source provider, Telefónica de España, of Madrid, Spain. The P621 Communications Station project will replace the existing communications station, and includes redundant outside plant cable routing within NAVSTA Rota through existing infrastructure where possible and through new infrastructure where necessary. The sole source work is to provide services necessary for engineering, provision, installation, testing and certification of the outside telecommunication cable plant. The Government intends to restrict portions of the project to Telefónica de España under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services…
