Scope

GENERAL STATEMENTUS Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Bonneville Lock and Dam are soliciting for the purchase and installation of blade seals for Powerhouse II Main Unit Kaplan turbines. The turbine runners are 5-bladed vertical axis Kaplans. The contractor will supply and install turbine blade seals on the Kaplan turbine of Main Unit 16. The second set of blade seals for Unit 17 is optional, as defined in this Performance Work Statement. The contractor will provide seals based on drawings and dimensions provided by the Government. The Government requests expedited fabrication, delivery, and installation at the earliest practicable opportunity following contract award. The Government anticipates contract award on or about 9/30/2026. This date is for planning purposes only and does not alter the Contractors performance obligations, which begin upon contract award.
