Meggitt Aircraft Braking System (MABS) Multiple NSN Long Term Contract

Scope

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Weapons Support Richmond, VA intends to issue a solicitation for consumable and Depot Level Reparable (DLR) spare parts that are sole source to Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (MABS, CAGE 0B9R9) and its subsidiary Nasco Aircraft Brake Inc. (NASCO, CAGE 21849). This acquisition intends to renew contracts SPE4AX-18-D-9452 and SPE4AX-18-D-9453 that expire in September 2028. MABS is currently the sole source manufacturer for the parts scheduled for solicitation and the acquisition will be conducted using other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.103-1 (Class Deviation 2026-O0017), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
