RM12-1896, Dry Dock 4 Renovation, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia Date: Tuesday, October 16, 2018 Time: 1300 - 1600. Location: Renaissance Hotel, 425 Water St, Portsmouth, VA 23704 NAVFAC is seeking industry feedback for project RM12-1896 - Dry Dock 4 Renovations at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia. The project includes: • Installation of temporary cofferdam to support construction • Construction of new caisson and repair of caisson seat • Structural repairs to dry dock floors and walls (includes pinning the dry dock floor via micropiling) • Repair of dry dock utility systems (includes: potable water, fire protection, salt water, sewer, oily waste, steam, electrical, and communication systems) • Renovation of pump well mechanical and electrical systems and architectural features (includes installation of three (3) 85,000 gallons per minute vertical mixed flow…
