Scope

Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Research Triangle Park (RTP) in Durham, North Carolina intends to award, on a sole source basis, and in accordance with RFO 6.103-1(b), a contract to AB SCIEX LLC for a Protective Equipment Maintenance Agreement (EMA) for the X500R Mass Spectrometer. This procurement is recommended to be processed without full and open competition. EPA�s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP) Office of Mission Critical Operations, Risk Assessment Support Division�s Laboratory is needing a Protective EMA for the X500R Mass Spectrometer, which is needed to ensure proper equipment performance and reliability.
