THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT. This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) section 5.201 to notify the public of a proposed contract action. The North American Identification Classification System (NAICS) code is 516110 - Radio Broadcasting Stations The SBA size standard is_$47 Million Average Annual Receipts. The U.S Agency of Global Media (USAGM) intends to award a contract, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, to Global Emergency Media Ltd (GEMA) a radio broadcasting firm with its registered office at 20�22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU . The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, which reads in part, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�…
