MEDECO INTELLIGENT KEY HIGH-SECURITY LOCK SYSTEM

Scope

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 5, Health Service Area (HSA) 5.2, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, on behalf of VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS), intends to issue a solicitation for a potential commercial service and supply requirement supporting the existing MEDECO Intelligent Key high-security lock, cylinder, key, and software system at VANCHCS. VANCHCS currently uses ASSA ABLOY/MEDECO Intelligent Key products across its sites as its existing high-security lock, cylinder, key, and related software system. The Government requires continued compatibility with the installed system and the ability to maintain the security, functionality, programming, and lifecycle support of the existing system.
