Scope

For release is the Munitions Open Solicitation for Advanced and Innovative Capabilities dated March 20, 2026. PAE Fires, as one of the Army�s core modernization enterprises, is responsible for shaping, integrating, and delivering the Army�s most critical fires capabilities � today and into the future. This initiative is focused on modernizing the Army�s Organic Industrial Base by actively seeking innovative technologies to rapidly and efficiently research, develop, prototype, test, evaluate, procure, and/or field critical enabling advanced fires capabilities that address near-term and mid-term threats. This solicitation aims to provide the Army with access to innovative solutions to maintain a competitive edge over adversaries while enabling flexible business arrangements with the industrial base to implement the National Defense Strategy and Army Vision.
