Scope

The NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support is soliciting a LTC rrequirement for the repair of VSI TRA AVIONICS, NSN: 5998-015376342. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. JAN 2017 is the estimated award date of the resultant stand- alone contract. The subject items requires Government source approval prior to contract award, as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support manufacture or repair via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the government for procurement of these items has been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
