FLOSSMOOR ROAD VIADUCT STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, FLOSSMOOR, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS

Scope

This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District to inform interested vendors of the district?s intent to issue a solicitation for Flossmoor Road Viaduct Storm Sewer Improvements, Flossmoor, Cook County, Illinois. PROJECT INFORMATION: The Flossmoor Road viaduct has a history of frequent and significant flooding. The proposed storm sewer along Sterling Avenue addresses the flooding at the viaduct by providing increased conveyance capacity and in-line storage for surcharged stormwater. The project limits along Sterling Avenue are located near the center of the Village of Flossmoor (Village); bound on the south of Maryland Avenue and the north by Hawthorne Lane, Sterling Avenue is a residential street connecting the Flossmoor Road viaduct to the new infrastructure along Maryland Avenue and downstream.
