THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The United States Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay intends to award a sole source purchase order using the procedures in Federal Acquisition Regulation Revolutionary Overhaul (FAR RFO) 12.102(a), as Snap-on Industrial has been deemed the only source available to meet this specific requirement due to specifications and customization needed for the new USCG HAIWING are proprietary to the original equipment manufacturer. This purchase order is intended to be awarded to Snap-on Industrial for the acquisition of 6 Hangar boxes, 1 Heavy Maintenance Box, and all shop tools and boxes for the Avionics, Helicopter, Metal, and Survival Shops to support the operations and maintenance of the HAIWING and its 10 MH-65E helicopters which are instrumental in preserving the aircraft's operational…
