Scope

** This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers- Chicago District to inform interested vendors of the district?s intent to issue a solicitation for Gate Hoist Machinery Painting and Hoist House Rehabilitation for Fox River Dams, Wisconsin. ** ** PROJECT INFORMATION: The Government is seeking a contractor to 1) repaint the gate hoisting machinery and 2) to rehabilitate the gate hoist houses for 9 (nine) US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) operated dams on the Fox River, Wisconsin. The dams include the following: Kaukauna Dam, Little Chute Dam, Cedars Dam, Appleton Lower Dam, Menasha Dam, Appleton Upper Dam, DePere Dam, Little Kaukauna Dam, and Rapid Croche Dam.Base 1 repainting work includes surface preparation and painting of the various gate hoisting machinery located at each dam.
