Scope

NSN 1R-5970-016890499-H5, REF NR 5111001303S, QTY 42 EA, DELIVERY FOB ORIGIN. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a competitive basis for the buy of a spare item listed below: NOMENCLATURE: INSULATION SLEEVING NSN:1RM 5970 016890499 PART NUMBER:5111001303S PLATFORM:CH-53k QTY: 42 Limited Sources permitted by 10 USC 3204 (a)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 15. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.
