Scope

Oxygen Tank Assembly used on the Air Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM), and is a component that provides a metered quantity of commercially pure gaseous oxygen to engine combustor during high altitude starts, to assist in engine light-off during ignition and to contribute to stabilized combustion during subsequent engine acceleration.
