Scope

Notice of intent to award a sole source bridge contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for 8 Month Base with Corporate Waste Solutions LLC 4919 Dogwood TRL, Richmond TX 77406 for the VA Healthcare Maine to obtain Waste and Recycling pickup/disposal. While procuring a new Base plus 4 option years contract. The current contract 36C24121D0010 ends on 9/30/2026 with no contractual ability to extend. The current RFQ 36C24126Q0581 did not result in an award in time to prevent a lapse in service due to a Protest. A new RFQ is being developed for a base plus 4 option years. This sole source bridge contract with the current vendor will continue service without interruption or risk of service while the new RFQ is being developed.
